Portal KTP Update

The following Knowledge Transfer Partnerships (KTP) projects were recently approved and followed directly from initial discussions with the Innovation Portal:

Tayside Flow Technologies and Dr Sandy Cochran from the Institute of Medical Science & Technology (IMSaT) at University of Dundee
“To develop a new arterial graft, stent graft and stent design based on improved material and test prototypes and products using imaging blood flow measurement capability”

Dundee Cell Products and Prof Julian Blow from the College of Life Sciences at University of Dundee
“To establish the skills and expertise to provide Quantitative Proteomics services”

M Squared Lasers and Dr Edik Rafailov from the Division of Electronic Engineering, Physics and Renewable Energy at University of Dundee
“To develop an inexpensive and compact type of THz source that will have particular potential in medical imaging practices and security procedures”

Hunting Energy Services and Dr Qi Zhao from the Division of Mechanical Engineering & Mechatronics at University of Dundee
“To develop a self-lubricating composite surface coating for premium pipe connections provided to the oil & gas industry”
