The Technology Strategy Board (TSB) is a business-led executive non-departmental public body, established by the government. Its role is to promote and support research into, and development and exploitation of, technology and innovation for the benefit of UK business, in order to increase economic growth and improve quality of life.
A current research and development competition is Carbon Abatement Technologies which addresses technologies that tackle carbon dioxide emissions from large single point sources, primarily fossil-fuel power plant and other large process industries such as those related to petrochemicals, cement, steel and other metals production.
Expressions of interest (EOI) in the Carbon Abatement Technologies competition must be submitted by Thursday 23 July 2009. More details about these competitions and the application process are available by clicking here to visit the TSB website.
