Managing Director of Honda UK to speak at the Innovation Showcase

Ken Keir, Managing Director of Honda UK and Senior Vice-President of Honda Motor Europe, is returning to his hometown of Dundee to be the keynote speaker at the forthcoming Innovation Showcase Business Day event.

Mr Keir will speak to morning and afternoon delegates about innovation at Honda. The Innovation Showcase Business Day is being held on Tuesday 18 November 2008 at the Dalhousie Building, University of Dundee. The event is to be hosted by Peter Day, presenter of BBC Radio 4's In Business, who will also talk about global innovation and the potential of academic collaboration with business. Jim Mather, Minister for Energy, Enterprise and Tourism will be opening the afternoon programme and delivering an innovation address.

Academics from the University of Dundee, University of Abertay Dundee and SCRI will be exhibiting the expertise and technology available for business collaboration throughout the day.

This free event will show businesses why innovation is essential to their success and delegates will discover what the Innovation Portal, and its links to academic expertise, can do to help.
