Event Summary

This workshop will demonstrate how environmental expertise from the University of Dundee, University of Abertay Dundee and the Scottish Crop Research Institute can be be applied to help industry become cleaner, safer and more productive.

Programme 

17.00 - Registration & Refreshments

17.15 - Jamie Henderson, Innovation Portal
Jamie will outline the work of the Innovation Portal and the small grants scheme which is available to Scottish SMEs.

17.25 - Rob Duck, University of Dundee
Rob will highlight the environmental expertise that is available for business at the University of Dundee.

17.45 - Juliette O'Keeffe, ACE Eco-Partnerships
Juliette, an Environmental Project Officer at ACE, will outline the mechanisms available through ACE for supporting SMEs working on environmental projects in Tayside and Fife.

18.05 - Alison Duffy, University of Abertay
Alison will highlight her experience in working on a successful KTP project with Greenbelt Group - the only UK-wide company that owns and manages greenbelt land formed as part of new housing developments.

18.25 - Tim Daniell, Scottish Crop Research Unit (SCRI)
Tim will discuss what environmental expertise is available for business at SCRI.

18.45 - Q&A Session and Networking
